Default California state ref

I'm currently working on putting a obd1 b18a1 in my crx. My plans are to state ref it, does anyone know what I will need exactly or what I will have to do? I have the obd0 to 0bd1 jumper with wiring for the 4 wire o2 sensor and everything to put the motor in, such as the swap motor mounts, axles, and the shift linkage. What I'm not too sure about is the vacuum lines and if there are any sensors that I need for smog? This is my first time working on any kind of honda so be easy. lol

Is your car already set up for mpfi? If so then just throw the motor in and keep it obd0 it's the easiest way. No extra wires are needed. Some refs will not allow the use of a jumper harness

you will need the extra firewall sensor from the DA, the bracket from the DA that is stamped PR4, you need everything working, MAP, PR4 ECU, timing needs to be correct, all vacuum hoses need to be hooked up according to stock as in how it was hooked up OEM in the DA, charcoal canister, headers, o2 sensor, intake tube, cat, and I think that is it.

I'm doing the same thing, just make sure you keep it stock, you need all those ^^^^ parts from the DA.

Yeah its an si. I think I'm going to try obd1 first and see what happens. If I cant use the jumper, to make it obd0 I would need just an obd0 ditributor and a 2 wire o2 sensor?

Thanks! Very helpful. Yeah I read it has to be same year or a newer motor as the car its going in and has to pass smog as same as it was in the car it came from. I bought my motor and tranny off a friend that wrecked his car so I wasn't able to get everything for the motor. At least now I know what parts to look for. I've heard that passing the inspection at the ref can be difficult and didn't want to take any chances and learn as much as I can before I go. Thanks good luck!

Yeah I will... lol it might be a little while before I get around to it though. I definitely want to keep my crx and state ref it but I have awhile before I get my license back. Never drink and drive, it's not worth it.
