Car won't start...getting frustrated
Background. I have a 93 accord and it died on me a few weeks ago. I thought it was because oil flooded the spark plugs and in which I removed all plugs and cleaned out the oil. Still no fire. I thought I diagnosed the problem by replacing the main relay considering that there was no spark to the coils. Still no fire. I don't know if it is the timing belt, the distributor or what. When I crank the car, I can hear the relay that I just replaced click but I don't get it to turn over. I just don't know what it is. I really don't know what to do now except to bring it to a mechanic, but I can't afford to do that right now. If I can get some help to diagnose what is wrong with it, then it would be helpful. This is urgent. Thank you.
the main relay does not usually cause no spark. 95% of the time the fix for your problem will be an ignitor. the ignitor is located inside the distributor and is pretty easy to replace.
ok well problem one no spark....
to check for fuel do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key to the on position?
it may be your ignition and coil use the search button there are many threads about people with problem starting their car
