Stupid question!!!
ok i know this might be a stupid question but i was just wondering is there a way to take make the k20 regular vtec instead of i-vtec without doing much??? just wondering......
cause you know how supposedly regular vtec is faster than i-tec is there a way to change the i-vtec on my k20 to just vtec...once again i know its a stupid question

Ok first off I-VTEC is an evolution of VTEC meaning its been redesigned for better performance... You wouldn't be able to have normal VTEC because K20 are only I-VTEC you can't down grade to VTEC! Plus the only reason you are asking is because you just want to have that sound when VTEC would snap but with the I-VTEC the sound is there its just not as loud as it was on the old system...
Also if it were even possible to do you would loose power from going to I-VTEC to VTEC!
I-VTEC kicks in at 2200 rpm VTEC is anywhere btwn 4500 to 5200 rpms depending on the engine!

if ur talking about changing the ivtec out of the k20a3 engine
to a more "normal" more agressive ivtec k20a2
get the head and kpro
or complete engine swap
