I am looking for a 96-98 OEM Civic Front Lip. Not a Type-R and not an SiR front lip but an OEM front lip. I only know a couple people who has this lip so if you want to sell them to me I'd be happy to buy them. I heard there were replicas of these in other countries but I want an OEM Honda. Been after for this lip in years and hopefully in 2009 I would find me one. Pls bump to wish me luck. Thanks.

That is a type-r lip dude. No USDM civic has fog lights or lips. 96-98 that is.

I am contemplating selling mine (I have the front and the rear lips). I just put them on, but they were otherwise brand new out of box. I had to do a LOT of calling around, but I got a hold of what is probably the last two in the US. They were sitting in 2 separate dealers inventories. I had to drill holes in my rear bumper for the install, so I am a little apprehensive to selling these and driving around with holes in my bumper. But for the right price I'm sure I could be bought out.

I've seen a couple of these around where I live. OEM USDM ones, that are in completely stock cars driven by old people. Been contemplating following them till a stop light and ask how much for 'em lol.

 

I've only seen one in real life at a safeway parking lot on a stock civic. I wanted to wait till the owner comes back. I went in safeway for a few minutes and when I came back the car was gone

I saw the other day on a Stock Civic at the Junkyard, but it was all f'ed up broken in half, missing a chunk, etc. I was so pissed, cause I could've snapped it up for a few bucks ...

lol. my car looks just like the civic in that pic, except I took the J speeds off and it has the moonroof visor and no trunk spoiler or bra. The 96-98 lower spoilers look so much cleaner IMHO

bump for a good piece. this lip is probably the rarest of the rare. i happen to get my hands on one. this is the reason i still have a 96-98 front on my car. good luck on the find.

it came with my 98 ex coupe. at first i thought that it was aftermarket but i looked closely and it had the original hardware, rubber molding and honda stamp in the back. also came with the rear spoiler too. i wanted one for my hatch so i went to the dealer and got another one for my hatch. then my coupe got stolen but dealer would be my guess. i think its discontinued though. i went there back in 1999 and it was hard to get that lip. waited for weeks-back ordered big time but totally worth it. people just dont know - looks better than the jdm ctr version but is comparable to the sir. bump again my friend and good luck!
