Hi.

I have a 2000 EX which is 135k on it. I replaced my battery 2 days ago. After that the stock radio want me to put in security code which I don't know. I took the gear box out to clean aroud while the radio was disassembling to find serial No. After I got the number and cleaned them up, everything was put together. Also ATF was changed tonight.
After all jobs were finished, the gear indicator doesn't work nomally. Especially D4 doesn't turn on. No blinking and CEL. I can't see anything wrong. What is the problem?

The bulb may be blown.

 

What kinds of bulb should I buy? How the cluster can be taken out?

I was wrong. The D4 indicator light in the dash is part of a printed circuit board. If the D4 light specifically doesn't work, then you would need to replace the entire circuit board ($55 @ Majestic Honda).

I found a bulb for the D4, so I would like to try to replace the bulb.
