i bet if you both pushed your cars as fast as you could, you could totally take him. the srt owner would probably beg for spots. 07-09 members for the win!

or better yet push them both out of an airplane and see which is faster.

the srt4 is pretty quick but the wheel hop is killer. you could beat it off the line if you could drive better than them. i hav done it in my DX haha.

Dodge's own Mopar Performance has been offering several "stages" of performance upgrades for those who want to push their cars. The $399 Stage 1 turbo upgrade kit pushes the SRT-4's 2.4-liter turbocharged engine to an underrated 240 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. Next in the catalog is the Mopar Performance turbo blow-off valve, designed to prevent both premature boost leakage and compressor surge. The $1500 Stage 2 turbo kit boosts the engine up to 280 hp and 300 lb-ft in "high-octane" mode, while the Stage 3 raises the bar up to 355 hp and 365 lb-ft, costing you between $2700 to $3700 depending on what upgrades you've already installed.

hahaha i think they would fall at the same speed if i remember physics correctly. lol i still think it would be funny to see a srt4 and a early early 90's hatch racing by being pushed by their owners. since the si is lighter it would have to win, unless the owner is a wimp. lol

? what are you trying to say here. are you saying that OEM srt's are fast with good hp/torque? the stage 2 kit is probably mopar (which is pretty much OEM in their eyes). ya its pretty pointless. if you were boosted it would be fair, just like if that neon didnt have a turbo it would be fair.

Good grief! Too bad it's a Dodge... I will dodge my way around setting foot in a Dodge for the rest of my life! Owned 2 and no more. Very unhappy customer.

The results of that Stage 3 iare sexy though. Is it obtained through ECM flashes, larger turbo, and various minor bolt-ons? Or do they crack open the engine and add in some reliability too?
