SO as the new PPG/Bullhead H Dogbox is actually going into production (The Bs are already out as are the Ks, and the H will be delivered soon to those that bought in).... It is now time for us that would rather stick to a syncroed variant.
I have been on the phone with Eric at Bullhead in regards to putting together a Syncroed 1-4 set just like they did for the K guys (pictured below). It would use an OEM fifth gear, and all other parts would be OEM compatable (Syncros, sliders, selectors, collars, countershaft/FD etc.). As per him...It is totally doable and as I have had LOTS of problems with everything Ive tried, I have faith this might FINALLY fix my breakage issues. Being my car is a true streetcar, I want to keep a syncroed set. Bullhead Gears is local to me, and it will be nice to have the support of a local company to actually SHOW them whats going wrong should ANYTHING happen. If you have seen the quality of the released B and K stuff, you know that it is seriously beefy.
Projected cost is around 3 Grand... 1500 deposit (That will be sent directly to bullhead gears).
Here is a shot of the K set which is JUST like what we'd be getting.
