Default What front end is this?

I want this front end because mine is an eyesore, but I also want a correct front end. Seller says it is from a JDM 89 Civic Si. It's to my understanding that the sedan front will not fit on the hatchback/CRX but is the hatch and CRX transferrable?

88-89 civic

the CRX didn't have the extra piece between the bumper and the hood

Okay, so question for those that would know, I have a 90, would there be issues as far as putting this on? It looks to be pretty damn complete.

i don't think you will have any issues since you have all the parts...but you need the 88-89 headlights or the brackets i believe b/c the 88-89 screw into the side

Looks like a USDM 88-89 Hatch front end with Clear Corners/Bumper Lights.
The JDM SIs (ZC) had a scoop raising up from the hood but look exactly like USDM 88-89 hatchbacks.
The ZC also had a very small and light bumper support different to USDM supports.

Im still pretty interested in getting it considering it'd make a huge difference sheetmetal wise on my frontend. What about the moldings? Aren't there different moldings from the 88-89 and the 90-91? The earlier having a painted groove, the later being smooth?

So other than getting 88-89 moldings and doing a custom stretch (to accomodate the doors being longer for the seatbelts), it wouldn't match. Oh, and a 88-89 rear bumper, too?

Yeah, my hoods got a giant ding, my fenders have horrible work where it looks like the last owner tried to roll them, and my front lip has seen better days.

lol, My fenders are messed up aswell. They make my bumper not line up, and my turn signals are angled.

i dont thik that hood is a usdm hood. in US the middle part goes in instead of out like that one looks like. i dont know if this will cause a problem durring installing it. but it could.....

on closer inspection, maybe it IS the usdm hood.

That's just the angle of the hood in the photo. Take a close look, it still indents inward. I want a ZC hood in the future, but I want to refresh my front end.

Looks like a 88-89 jdm spec non Si front end with clear aftermarket from signal len's. You can tell it's not from a sedan because the corners are separate.
A crx front end is different as it doesn't have a separate upper bumper filler.

If your going to source out zc headlights, get a good set from Europe's model called the 1.6i
They are better than the jdm version. They can be had in LHD configuration, they are made of glass, they use actual H4 bulbs, and if you look around, you can find the height adjustable ones. I used to have a set, before i bought my ef8 front end.

here's a set cheap right here

The link you showed me has 2 bulb's per headlight just like the usdm does, I thought the zc ones are one bulb like the jdm ones.
