well on my way to work i slid on some ice, lost control of the car did a 180 slid backward and ran into the cement median...what do you guys think repairable or not or should i just give up on it...

I don't see that being repairable, but i've seen worse.. I would honestly start all over.. The car would probally never be the same after that..
Glad your okay though.

definitely new car. expesive. youll be happy with a new one compared to fixin the old one unless there some emotional value to the car. just wondering. . . . .what'd you have done to it?
If that happened to my 4 door, I would fix it only because I've had it for so long and it was my first car. I'm pretty much in love. /emo
It depends on you man. Idk how much you like your car or how much money you've put into it. Just make a decision you won't regret too much. Good luck!

as for what i have done with it i just recently did a ls/vtec not even 4 months ago. i do love this car and hate to have to part with it but i don't know at this moment what i want to do but as soon as i figured out what i want to do i'll let you guys know..
I'd scrap it, way too much money and downtime without a car. A good shell with engine transfer may be <$1500. When i got rear ended in my teg, body shop without goign through insurance charged $550 for pulling the rear body panel, and installing a used bumper and rear skirt. For the skirt and bumper, it was $200 at a good deal
totaled. i got rear ended and it totaled my civic but i bought it back and fixed it cheap. yours is a lot worse than mine was. that sucks about your car man.

tis the season for accidents. hell, i've been in 2 accidents since monday. (some guy backed into my car and the other one is still under investigation but will most likely end up as not being my fault)
I would definitely get a new car just because of all the problems that you may face down the road due to hidden damage from the collision.. like everyone else said.. if there isnt an attachment to the body then just grab the motor and swap it else where. Good to hear that no one got hurt
yea as far as the accident goes no one was around me so i was lucky there just walked away with a broken car and still made it to work on time..i know it'll cost me some serious money to fix it so i was leaning towards a eg or a dc2 and swap everything out...
anything is repairable... for your case it's gonna be expensive like everyone else says... what kind of coverage do you have as far as insurance? if only liability then I would start looking for a shell to swap your motor into...
