How do you remove the ac/heater box?

Default How do you remove the ac/heater box?

I can't take out the middle box where the hot/cold air come out of. pic is here

There are some hoses in the engine bay, did you take those off?

there is a medal tube that is connected to the box, but i can't figure how to take that off, it underneath the box, other then that there is no tube connecting if from the engine bay.

remove the two a/c coolant lines and the two heater hoses from inside the engine bay. disconnect temp sensor. unbolt the box, pull out of rubber firewall seal.

You're confusing that box with the evaporator.

I remove everything that was attached to the box.


then i remove three medal screws



I try to ****** it off after that, but still it wont budged. What else im a missing? I dont see any other screws.

that hose that i the circle in the first pictures, is underneath the box. how do i remove that? it seem like it come out with the box too.

I think you forgot to remove the nut from the stud that sticks through the firewall, near the heater hoses.

it should be right above and little to the left of the heater hoses if you're looking from the engine bay.. a 12mm
