So I have been calling around and finding out how much its goin to cost me for the install of S/C and headers. Catback and intake i will install myself. But every place i called is like 700.00 for install or 1250 for install and tune... Would the ecu reflash be good enough or should i save the exrta money and put it off for another month until i get enough for the tune also... So the question is, After the reflash will he car need to be tuned???

You cannot tune with our ECU. Hondata does a reflash for the comptech s/c and thats all you can do. It will be fine.

 

i was curious about this as well.
when you buy the s/c kit,
do you have to pay 600 or whatever it is for the s/c reflash??
or do you just pay the price for the s/c kit and u send them your ecu and it comes back with the reflash without you paying extra?

 

not sure about the jackson racing one (i'm guessing it's the same), but with the comptech one the reflash is included in the price. you just have to send in your ecu to hondata to get the reflash done.

 

x2. there's no way to tune the ecu yourself; just gotta use the reflash.

Yeah the kit comes with the paper work to send the ecu right to hondata.... No extra cost. This performance shop near me told me 700 to install and then all together 1250 for install and tune... I think the dude bumped his head then... Thanks guys Pics will come soon.
