Default HELP! My motor sucks. Leakdown test?

I had the head completely rebuilt with skunk2stage2cams and supertech valvetrain at 86k.
Had the car tuned and only put down 181whp, something was wrong. Did a leakdown and it had 20% leak in cyl 1 and 4. I was told that the car needed to be reringed

Currently at 92k and the car was just rebuilt, new bearings, rings, headgasket and oil pan gasket.

After driving around for 250miles i went to the shop to get it tuned, 152whp blowing black smoke like crazy(in vtec). On start up, if i get up and go it blows blue smoke but only for the first few blocks.

my question is: should i do the leakdown test when its cold or warm? my friends think that the rings have seated.

I also have 440 injectors, are these to big? I should be putting down 200whp

what program is it "tuned" on?? if you dont have anything else other than cams and valvetrain then yes those injectors are way too much. but if you have a competent tuner he would have been able to tell you that by the a/f ratio.... what did the tuner say??

as far as the motor, start with the basics. adjust the valves, check compression, do a leakdown etc. break in doesnt matter that much but depends who you ask. ive have my setups tuned before with 0 miles on them and it was fine.

ok then the tuner was probably able to lean it out enough so its not an issue. Im curious to know what the a/f is at WOT in the vtec range though.

otherwise go with a valve adjusts, check the timing, and do a leakdown and see if you can narrow it down. look at the plugs and see if there is any buildup on them. the shop could have done a shitty ring job.
