y7 to y8 head swap question

y7 to y8 head swap question
Thanks for your time.
I have a d16y7 and I want to put this y8 head I just got for 80 bucks. (Great condition) My problem is I dont want to buy the y8 ecu because I already have a s300 and AEM EMS (But dont know which one to put on). DO I HAVE TO USE THE Y8 ECU? and do I have to do any modifications to my engine because Im putting a JRSC?
