brake lights as in your taillights, then it would be your brake light switch which is the thing that is bolted directly above your brake pedal, 14mm nut holds it on so buy a new switch unplug the old one get a wrench and swap it out with new, let us know if this is ur problem, good luck

i know what it is!!

your brakes are on.
u need this part right here.

Part number 27.

Attach to your pedal is that lil thing and that thing pushes against a "black button switch" and when u step on ur brakes, the thing Depresses/releasing the button and it activates ur brake lights

u can go under ur steering column and press it and have somebody outside telling u wsup.

i would do more of a permanent fix and put a 10mm bolt and nut in that hole at the top of the brake pedal...

its a common problem, they dry up and fall apart over the years, happened to me twice last year in 2 different cars.
