...a gift from Netherlands.I think they are expensive though.
So why not oil based foam filter you ask? well, ask experienced engineer that specializes in air flow and combustion as you won't believe what I say.

Too bad you'll have to throw it away after a few thousand miles.
Here in Holland it's a common service item. Nothing special, and almost everybody replaces them with the K&N unit that is much much better.

unnecessary flaming here... nice find OP. all that matters is its worth it to you that you got it, theres a simple phrase that always holds true. "theres nothing like OEM"
i still don't understand what it's supposed to do besides filter incoming air...is there anything special about it b/c it's for an EF SiR? just trying to see why there's a thread about someone buying an OEM air filter
I don't hate on stock. I love the fact i can call my car stock.
I'm treading a fine line between calling myself a hypocrite here, but I don't see the purpose in buying something that will be thrown away in a few thousand miles, which could have probably been bettered by something much more easily obtainable, such as K&N or the like.

Good find OP.
It took me all of 30 seconds to find the K&N application, whats so hard?
I don't know if you know this or not but I think the reason for this thread was mainly just to show the part number itself. The JDM air box design is different from the usdm one and the replacement part number is hard to come by. at least it was for me when I tried finding a replacement filter. I even had a hard time finding the K&N part number. Probably more of a "Just in case anybody wanted to know thread" and not so much of a "Look what I got " thread. at least that's the way I took it.
Good find OP.
