Default JDM swap question

Ok i did a jdm swap in my 4th gen prelude. Cant get it started 4 some reason. I was wondering do i need a jdm wiring harness because there is internal coil on the jdm motor vs the usdm? Any pointer on what to check would be great.

Just use a 30 amp fuse to jump the connector for "External Coil Power" if you are using the USDM wire harness and the JDM Internal Coil distributor.

Here's a pic of mine.

you cant use a jdm wiring harness on your car unless u have a right hand drive vehicle. i just did same swap on mine. u can take off the distributor on the jdm and use ur distributor off ur old motor- u just gotta mount ur coil somewhere in the engine bay. and since u'll be using ur wiring harness it will all plug up easily.
P.S. I have a question... does ur tach now work?? mine doesnt and i have no idea why??

cool...yea it was a h23 harness from b 4....Im gonna try that fuse in the external ditrib connector. Hopefully this works for me. Yea n thats what i meant h22 harness....not jdm lol. Didnt know bout the clip on the harness because it has to send some kind of signal to the ecu.
