Default opening stock head lights

what is the best way to open the stock housing head lights to paint the black housing and im gonna glue the yellow nipples from legends lights in to my stock high beam housing. so im asking what is the best way to open it?


1. heat gun.

2.put in oven let it sit.

If you put them in the oven at 200 deg F for an undetermined time - I did roughly 20 min - it will yield a more consistent temperature with better results over all.

use a heat gun its easier to control and you wont burn the hell out of your hands (as much)as for the yellow highbeam use window stain paint from a craft store it looks better
