yeah like i said for the timing belt, waterpump, use the 92-95 civic vx (d15z1), the plugs cap and rotor for the 92-95 civic si (d16z6), thermostat wont matter they both share the same part number.

I want to say with my friend ZC/D15B build we use a Z6 timing belt? Is that cause it has a different block and head combo?

That's incorrect; they all use the same cam gear. Only the Y's had a different cam gear and was just timed different(still same number of teeth).

The motor is missing the wire harness. would i have to track down one from my motor (d15b vtec)or will a z6 work?

yeah i wasnt sure why all i know is that your supposed to use the vx timing belt....

if this is going into an ef then you use your engine harness modded to fit the d15b....grab the vtec plugs off the z6 harness i guess.

IIRC, you wouldn't be able to use a JDM harness anyways. It's on the wrong side.

Converting your stock harness would be the best route IMO. I did it the most freaking ridiculously hard way which was using a Z6 harness I got with the motor, and pretty much converting the car/engine bay to OBD1.

Only 1.5 one that would work is the VTEC-E D15Z1.

As stated before, for the head use D16Z6 stuff.
