I was looking around today and noticed how many people are not aware of what can still be had brand new from Honda. I work for the Acura side of things here in Canada, but still have free time to check availability on Civic/CRX parts from time to time. I am not selling anything, so don't pm me asking to buy. I just want to give a heads up on some popular parts that people look for that can still be had. Here's a short list of new things i picked up for my crx NIB from Honda

- Climate control


- upper and lower rear area covers- crx



- hood latch
- all window moldings
- sunroof panel
- front center consol garnish- around radio/climate controls
- front bumper lip
- hatch struts
- lower crx side skirts


- "SE" crx rear wiper arm- needed to fit SiR rear wing

Other parts- out of production but can still be found if you look around
- oem carpeting


- rear quarters
- Si engine wire harness
- mud flaps

Now here's some cool oem parts new i got from ICB motorsports, that can still be had also. I was super happy to get!

- double DIN radio section


- new SiR front bumper lip

here this is easier....go to www.hondaautomotiveparts.com its an online "dealership" and you can order whatever you want from the honda USDM database. Part numbers are included as well as dealer price and online price. i've tried to get the civic floormats for my ef sedan but no luck :-( i need the sidemoldings and mudflaps.

 

thats pretty awesome. Hondaautomotiveparts.com doesnt carry lot of the stuff he listed any more. its pretty much where i buy all my parts if possible.

anyone have any suggestions for carpet? place over here charges something like 300 installed.

No, don't forget that Honda has two divisions in North America alone. I live in Canada, we have different stock than Honda USA. I'm trying to let people know that certain parts can still be had from different area's. That can save some looking around and educate others of what can still be had.

I have recently come across some outfit in the east coast of oz that is bringing in "new" panels that I suspect are imported chinese knockoffs as they're priced around 1/6 the price of the honda oem stuff. I haven't seen the panels in RL so I have no idea about their quality or fit.

I too buy alot of my oem parts from hondaautomotiveparts.com. That's funny I bought the dual din stereo console from ICB as well. They ship fast and the stuff is new in the box. I used to want to buy OEM CRX Si carpet REAL bad but have since given up on it and found a very good condition used carpet. Although....it might just get my interest perked if new OEM CRX Si carpet could still be found somewhere...

 

also, something i didn't realize at first, but the OEM hood latch comes complete with the entire cable that runs from the underdash kick panel all the way to the T bar. a new OEM hood cable feels amazing when popping the hood.

 

you can still buy all the moldings for a 90 up crx. thin ones! just bought em. they discontinued the hf emblem so who ever has one is totally lucky. like me!! and to tell you the truth they are flat black and not semigloss or shiny like ive seen other crxs have

 

Then quit dragging *** and just do it Tyson You'll hate yourself if they go out of production and you can't get them anymore when that rust spot starts to form!

40 for the drivers side including emblem and clips
25 for passenger side including emblem(SI,HF[Discontinued]) and clips

all the hatch moldings are available except the pieces where the paint begins to mess up such as the very top and very bottom.

Si seats available upon request
DX seats

these are all parts that i have check for when i purchase parts. but who knows how long before they start getting discontinued....

Damn, are you getting employee discounts or do you just have tons of money to burn? I need hatch struts for my 91 hatch, and HondaAutomotiveParts.com wants $53.77 for two stupid struts! And actually, in comparison to other parts I've seen (like the Si seats), that's a reasonable price. OEM parts from Honda are crazyyy expensive. When I win the lottery I'm just gonna buy a clean bodied 89 Si and restore it with as many new OEM parts as possible.

That brings me to another question. Are these old EF parts NOS or NNS?

What is the part name for the OEM upper rear area covers? I found the lower ones on the Honda Automotive site, but can't find the upper covers.

 

yea i was curious about that rear wiper for the SE model crx. i had gotten into an argument with a local dealership about the rear wiper arm being different for the crx that came with a stock spoiler. if i can get that part number from you or a link to the dealership that i can order it from that would be awsome. even a phone number. thanks for looking out for us.

My rear wiper arm has been on B/O for a couple weeks, but should be in on Mon or Tues. Once it arrives, i'll post the correct part number.

Your right, it only comes on the SE model found in North America on Canadian models. It sits lower to clear the rear wing also found on JDM EF8 models, and some European EE8 CRX's.


My rear hatch came without the wiper arm, i'm sure it was snatched very quickly when it had arrived here.

Area covers are all the same for 88-91 models, those parts numbers are right on the boxes i have in my storage room.
