ES1 to EM2?
sup Honda-Tech!,
this is actually my first post on this forum, and i wanted to know a little more about the ES1 suspension compared to the EM2... I really want a full blown setup for my suspension, but the product say's its for EM2...will they fit my ES1 since the engine bay is the same?!

EM2 and ES1 are chassis codes located within your VIN number.
EM2 for Vtec/Non Vtec Coupe models.
ES1 for Non-vtec Sedan models.
ES2 for Vtec Sedan models.
As for your question will a "EM2 suspension fit an ES1" Yes.
01-03 have different size bolt holes in the strut housing.
04-05 have 16mm. 01-03 have 14mm.

stock sedan suspension is almost the same as the stock coupe suspension...
i believe the only difference was that the sedans got maybe stiffer spring rates at the rear because it's rear end is heavier
if one has a big stereo in a coupe, i wonder if it's better for them to use sedan lowering springs. would that prevent rear end sag?
