wow another car stolen in irvine. so sad, people think that just because its a nice and safe place to live that their car will be safe. uci is one of the hottest places for cars to get stolen. i live in irvine, ive never seen your car around but ill keep an eye out for it

 

Uh.. I hope that's sarcasm. Westminster/Irvine has one of the highest auto-theft rates. Sucks to hear man, my girl goes to UCI. She use to have an apart at VDC Norte last semester, too much $hit happens there. Hope you find your car bud. Sucks how RSX's are getting stolen now.

 

where did u get these statistics? just wondering? since I really dont hear about many cars getting jacked in irvine....
and I will keep an eye out. Im looking for a place in Irvine as I type. I was looking for one with Garage, but not many places offer. But after looking at this, i will wait for a place with garage.

 

K-pro or a jdm ecu. The rsx is a harder car to put a effictive kill switch. But it can be done. Acura flaw is that they put the 2 main relays right in front of the ecu. Relocate those and put a switch on the grounds of the two main relays relays and that will **** them off because they will not be able to use k-pro or a jdm ecu to start the car. If your alarm install is not up to par use a switch. If you have a good install use 2 relays and wire it up to your alarm so the alarm will activate the kill switches. Add a switch to the alarm too if want extra protection. With out those 2 main relays the car will not go anywere under its own power. Period
