to anyone whose swapped from d series to b18 LS motor...IACV wiring question
I have a 98 civic dx that had a LS swap done to it....trying to figure out my idle problem I found out that the IACV is not even plugged in, therefore ecu isn't controlling the idle. I don't have a connector off the harness that seems to fit. Is there a mod that has to be done for this to get connected.
help me out
thanks

You say you can't find a plug that fits.. Are there any disconnected plugs under/behind the intake manifold? You want to look for a yellow w/ black striped and a blue w/yellow striped set of wires for the IACV if I remember correctly.
If the plug doesn't fit then simply go to the junk yard and find one that does, cut it and reconnect to the wires i mentioned above and plug it in.

Ya I have 2 loose plugs but both dont fit I think the person who did the swap used the civic harness. I might just pick up a ls harness and use what I need off it like u mentioned.
Do you have a three wire plug that looks like this?

yaaaa boiii thats exactly what i needed..... thanks a lot man
you guys know of any other connectors that should have been modified or changed?
thanks
it has nothing to do with vtec. the y7s/auto y8s had a 3 wire iacv, everything else is 2 wire. theres a write up on here about it somewhere
Well right before step 1 it states: "if your a 96-98 non vtec or a/t civic owner...."
thats why im asking if the pin out has to be changed if I have a non vtec ls motor.
