Default Passenger air bag light

My passenger air bag light is on, the one on the radio. Does anybody know how to turn it on/off? Is there a hidden switch somewhere?

Do you have anything on your passenger seat?

Does it really bother you that much? That tiny little light.

That "tiny little light" means that his front passenger side airbag will not deploy in the event of an accident. I'm sure that would bother his front seat passenger more than himself.

OP-Take it to a dealer. I am very DIY, and one thing I wouldn't mess with is airbags lol.

if there is nothing or a passenger on the seat it should be off... if you have something on the seat that weighs 30lbs or less the light will turn on saying "airbag off" this is a safety precaution in case there is a child on the front seat...

there was a TSB out for the passenger seat airbag... idk the number but it had something to do with the wire getting rubbed and causing a light to show... i checked mine and it's fine (i'm a tech)... you might want to take the car to get looked at and tell them u know there was a TSB on that particular issue...

I believe he means that the airbag is on, when no one is in the seat, not that the airbag is not on when someone is in the seat, hence...

you misread... he said the airbag LIGHT is on... not the airbag itself... the only light near the radio that could be on in the "pass airbag OFF" light...

What i meant is that the "passenger airbag off" light is blinking (located next to the radio), I would like to turn the passenger airbag on incase of an accident or something i would like for it to work.
My car is a 2007 honda civic si coupe with 7k miles on it

That is the purpose of the "passenger airbag off" light, to tell you whether the airbag is on or off. Your statement makes no sense...

If the "passenger airbag off" light is ON, then the airbag is off.

Umm, 3 year/36,000 mile warranty? Take it to the dealer and make them fix it. Honda-Tech.com is not going to pay you for diagnosis time and parts.
