Civic exhaust on a CRX, how much to cut out?
i know this has probably been covered a million times, but due to the new improved search feature im having no luck. the ex. thread in the faq's they say take out 6-7" but from where? if it helps its a rsr exmag for a 88-91 civic it will be going on my 91 crx si. kinda in a rush to find this info, any help is greatly appreciated!!!!
Your best bet is to just hang it up under the car and take a look. I did this and it was different from what I was told so I hung it then look and went from there.
i let my friend borrow my exhaust for smog. i have a 89 hatch, and he got a 88rex. the only problem we had was the hanger position and that mine was a b-series flange. used a little bit of muscle to pull the cat onto the downpipe.
i beleve its 6 inches you will have to add..when i bought my megan racing drift spec ...
i had to cut 6" off cause it was made for a crx and not the civic...
