my o2 sensor reads as this

i bought an original part from honda dealer p/n 36531 PLR A01 (it is actually NTK/NGK 508-H4), but my check light is still on. error code stated that no activity from the sensor

what's wrong...????

 

maybe you need to insert the obd 2 and reset the check eingine light

Did you disconnect the battery for a few min and then fire 'er up? (This is needed to reset the check engine light)

 

yes i did. leave it disconnected for 20 sec. the check light turns off for about 1 min then on again.the scanner indicated that there is no sensor reading at all - unknown sensor. when i plugged in the old o2 sensor, the scanner indicated faulty o2 sensor.
the mechanics even try to reset it using the scanner.

in the header or in the cat?

if you need the one for the header, I have one in working condition from a 04 lx with 35k. I will sell for cheap.. 40+shipping/paypal.

 

My guess is that the new sensor is faulty. See if you can exchange it for another one and try it again.

 

the sensor is in the manifold (front sensor). i think they gave me the wrong sensor. they missed by few year, mine is 2003, they gave me sensor for 2001. just exchange it and will try to fix it this evening.
