S600 Roadster
Hi all,
I have been watching the progress of the S600s' on this forum for sometime and thought I might post some pictures of a couple of S600's I aquired late last year.

I am still in two minds as to what happens from here, I will be selling of the spare shell and chassis but have not decided if I will undertake a conversion or install the 600cc motor. I know this will probably start a flurry of threads from the purists to keep it original but the cost of a full on resto will actually out weigh a conversion.

what about a mostly resto, where it's 'driver quality' with the 600cc mill? Unless you're at a parts shortage, I don't think it'd cost too much.
Just a thought, it'd be really slow. but really neat, and wonderful in the turns.

I personally would just modify it. There is one for sale in Australia claiming to have spent over $10,000 rebuilding the 600cc motor, to still come to a crawl at the slightest of hills (Ok, it's not that bad, but for some hills I wish they put synco in first gear). However on flat ground, the sound it makes is incredible. In terms of resale value, it's a tough one. It's only worth what someone is willing to pay (I got some plain silly offers when selling mine). From a personal view, if I was in the market for another S600 Coupe, it would have to be modified! I would probably pay more for a modified one (of course the motor would have to be something that was desirable) then a original.
People will stare at the car no matter what is under the hood! Anyway, keep us posted on what you decide to do with them!

Gents,
I will be selling the old shell and chassis along with engine block that is believed to be the one that was in the car when it was first registered. I will put some photos up in the next few days. I am located in Sydney Australia. I also have plenty of parts including a complete S600 motor with carb's. New set of pistons, plenty of new gaskets for the motor, gearbox's, diff, wheels etc. If anyone is interested please let me know.

Please send me a PM with your asking price on the complete engine and carbs; also you mention wheels, are they the aftermarket ones in the pics, or the the stock steel wheels.
