Long Island, NJ ?
Does anyone know of any good shops around Long island, NJ. maybe close to NY or something that, where i can get my C/T S/C put in? There is a honda dealer close to me who is willing to do the work and they want 700.00. and they said it would be the 1st one they ever did... So if i could pay maybe 100 more or same amount and get someone who has already done 1 or something close to it, it would be worth it. So anyone know of any shops around me ?
I'd suggest doing it yourself. Just follow the directions straight through and you'll be good. There's nothing like the satisfaction of doing something yourself....you don't only save money but you learn a thing or two about your own car.
I'm cheap though....I never pay for work.

Yeah i agree dirtySOHC but once i was reading the directions and seen the part about takin my back seat out and the stuff about my fuel. It looked very in depth and i dont know if i could do it... Know what i mean?
what exactly do you need to do with the fuel system? I never looked into the kit at all.
I'm telling you....read the directions at least 3 times and during the install, follow it word for word...you'll get it done.
if you know how to read and turn a wrench.....you can install anything. If you still don't feel confident....ask a fellow HT member that lives close to you to come help you out. Have a case of beer and pizza and I'm sure they'll love to help out.
you'll appreciate the S/C a lot more if you DIY.....trust me
EDIT: I'm guessing you need to clear the fuel lines of fuel so you can begin take apart the IM and surrounding components.
