Well for almost a year ive been driving around open exhaust on my prelude, ive been meaning to hook up an exhaust for the longest time (mostly since it was ungoddly loud) but the fact that i drive the car once a week and lack of money kept me from doing so. But pissing off the neighbors and everyone else (including police) was starting to get old. I had some 2.5 inch piping(FTL) laying around as well as a big 22" resonator. So myself and some friends had some fun with it and made one last night. We are running a resonator after the collector followed but only a 90 and dumping behind the passenger side door....side exit. I know the 90 isnt the greatest for flow however the stock routing has 2 of them along with a cat and muffler. I still dont know if i think its ricey or not, what do you guys think ? I'll get some pics up later and maybe a sound clip.

 

If it sounds good, and the piping is hidden under the chassis, then not ricey. Post some pics of the install.

Well a member of this board who had an exhaust that dumped straight back out of the exhaust tunnel ended up having his car lit on fire because of it, so that 90* bend sounds like a good idea.

Of course, that member uses his Prelude in ways most of us posers can only dream of

 

wouldnt mind seeing an exhaust clip.

it does burn some oil. I don't drive it enough to really say how much. The fact that I beat the **** out of it when I do drive it doesn't help. What did that smoke look blue to you or something ?
