Default Lug Nuts

I got these damn lug nuts that require a little adapter for a normal lug wrench. And I can't seem to get them to stay tight. The wheels are hubcentric if that means anything.

Also when I get them all tightened down it seems like some of the lugs will screw farther in than the others. This only on the front driver side. The rest are fine.

Suggestions? Where did I screw up? Is it possible to overtighten these type of lug nuts? I don't think I could of since I only used to stock lug wrench.

Yes you can definatly overtighten the wheel lugs with the stock wrench.

Have you driven it yet? Is the wheel wobbly?

no it doesn't wobble.

I took a closer look and two of the lugs (opposite of each other) appear to be at the correct depth (when compaired to the other three wheels). one of the lugs won't go in far enough. and the last lug is in too far.

If I fucked up my new wheels I'm gonna be pissed. But I took my car in today to get my brake upgrade done. and asked the dude to take a look at it. We'll see what he has to say.

Put some washers under the lugs.

It is the best way to avoid damaging the rim. I have already done it.

ohh you're not kidding - that doesn't seem very safe. the lugs I got seem to look like they are supposed to fit down into the lug hole (they have a little lip)
