Icon2 Low frequency to High frequency VSS help

Basic problem, i have a countershaft speed sensor style trans (05-08 rsx-s) with 02-04 harness with newer k-pro....(k-pro has the fix)

Car is 2000SI

i've seen alot of posts on other web sites about using a box to slow the speed of the counter....not into that.

I have the countershaft pig tail and its wired up as if it were a 05+ rsx to the ecu.

In the k-pro i can go to Misc and switch it to 05+ rsx countershaft...done that and its not working.....

Anybody else know what im doing wrong or has done this? Not switching cases or wiring in a box, nor buying another trans.

thanks...
