Default Aerial

Not sure if anyone had this problem before. My aerial keep coming out once my headunit is on, it is still on when I'm playing the CD. Anyone know what problem causes this? Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you are talking about antenna, that is how it works. You can put a switch so that it will not go up when turning on the radio, or simply unplug it altogether if you don't use it.

if its out when the car & cd player are all off I would check to make sure its plugged into the back of the deck and also that the antenna motor is not F***ED, as well as the fuse

Thanks a lot guys for the inputs.

waijsR: I'm pretty sure antenna motor is mint. I had a stuffed antenna before so I changed to a new one. As for now, antenna will go up as long the CD player is on (it doesn't matter if I'm on tuners, CD...etc). Has fuse got anything with antenna going up even if it is not being used? Also, what do you mean by stock deck? Thanks.

is it the OEM headunit (cd player), or do you have an aftermarket... Alpine, Kenwood, etc...
