Started the car the other day it stated and then it just quit. Now the stater runs and the engine and all the pullys turn but the engine will not start! Any ideas what it might be?

 

Mileage? 4 cylinder or V6? Are you getting spark and fuel?

 

is the green immobilizer light blink while you are cranking the motor if so the key lost its program and need to be programed.

we need more info of whats going on. does it have spark fuel???

 

It is a 4 cylinder, I'm not sure if it is getting spark or fuel, is there an easy way to find out. To me it sounds like there is no compression.

 

where is the immobilizer light?

 

its in the gauge cluster. its a green key light.

what year is the car?? whats the mileage?

to check for spark you can use a spart tester that goes in line with the spark plug wire. or using a long screwdriver insert in in the spark plug wire and lay in on the valve cover near a bolt that is grounded to the engine. crank the motor and see if the spark jumps to the grounded bolt. i dont recomend hold it while doing this becaus eif you have spark it will give you a small shock.

 

It is a 2003 and the mileage is around 110,000
