running rich JRSC and belt question...?
so ive been having really bad black stuff on the rear of my car. i found out that i am running rich. how does this happen all of a sudden?
also was driving home today and stepped on it in 5th gear (im JRSC) and im not going anywhere. go home and check out my engine bay and my JRSC belt has slipped off. also there are only 3 rivets on the belt not 4 = /. guess its time to replace.
the belt lasted me about 8k though. how long have they lasted for you all that are JRSC?

8k sounds fine. Belts are cheap. People replace them around that time or something like at minimum 6months? to a year and a half? What engine management?
i am tuned on hondata s300. i was tuned about a year ago by T1.
i would assume that i shouldnt be running rich or lean. i thought whatever your tuned at, it stays that way?

Thankfully no damage was done to the engine (15:1 isn't God awful lean, but enough to do damage over time, still), and a simple retune fixed the issues.
T1 knows what they're doing, I promise the tune he did is fine.
I'd recommend getting retuned every season, and keeping the tunes for different seasons on file to load at appropriate times of the year.
Rebuild the engine, the black soot will go away.

the JRSC has been on the engine for about 12k. i do not burn any oil or have in the past any.

Well, when was the last time you checked your oil?
I'd recommend starting a log of how much oil you're burning every week. It's a B-Series, it's going to burn SOME oil, I highly doubt it doesn't burn any at all.

ive been checking it at least 2 times a week. my motor has 58k on it.
ok now a side note...can i run a wet nitrous kit with the JRSC? how much would be safe to shoot? im thinking only a 20 or 35 shot.
or should i run a dry kit?

Do you understand the differences between dry and wet nitrous kits?
Dry kit: Injects only nitrous gas.
Wet kit: Injectors both nitrous gas, and fuel as well.
Basically, what this does; instead of just straight nitrous being shot into the engine without any method of fuel control, a wet kit sprays fuel (From a tapped source) with nitrous, to bring air:fuel ratio down to a safe level for forced induction (i.e. Let's say you're all motor tune is around 13.5:1 AFR, when nitrous is injected, instead of the AFR staying at an unsafe level for boost, the additional fuel brings it down to 11.5:1 AFR, which is more than safe with nitrous. Also, I'd probably have Tony look at what timing he'd recommend, but I'd say pull at least 2 degrees out for a 50 shot on a B-Series.)
Wet system is the only way to go in my opinion.
But why spend the money on nitrous, when you can send your supercharger to LHT Performance, and have them intercool your setup? Your existing IATs are probably around 265degrees, that's a LOT of lost power and efficiency. The intercooler setup they do, brings the IATs down to 115degrees (If I recall correctly), which adds quite a bit of efficiency, and along with efficiency comes more power (i.e. Colder air is denser air, denser air is more powerful air). They basically add a water:air intercooler core in your JRSC plenum, and run water lines to a pump, then run lines to a heat exchanger... It's essentially a radiator system.
I'd spend my money there before nitrous.

i already have a cooling system. i am running methanol injection setup.
the reason that i asked about wet and dry is i have a wet on my accord that im going to put on.
i hear that some prefer dry because it doesnt shoot fuel into the supercharger. idk. it would be more convinient to use a wet but wanted to make sure if its ok.
