forged b18c1 bottom end, mahle, arp only 1,000
recently built b18c1 bottom end with receipts on everything built in august of this year with mahle 4032 forged powerpak pistons with .7cc positive dome. rods are gram balanced GSR with 9mm ARP wave-loc rod bolts. the rods were resized and bearing clearance is .0020 on the rod, .0021-.0024 on the crank with acl race bearings. a line hone was used to land the crank where it is. piston to wall clearance is .0035 and the pistons use nitraded steel rings with a .0016 top and .0020 second ring. the block has been shaved .006 to even out warpage. this build has something like 4k miles on it and was going to be a boosted bottom end. the 4k miles are all motor and everything was going fine until a crower exhaust cam snapped wrecking all the exhaust valves. there are very minor nicks on the top of the pistons from the contact. the nick is roughly the size of pencil lead. as you can see it's still in the car but will be out over the next couple days. the entire short block will be sold to the first $1000 dollars. i have 436 feedback on ebay and references. the only reason i'm selling this is because i'm forgetting the turbo build and just running a plain ITR engine for a DD. my number is 503-201-1474 if you have any questions.
