Default H22 EG Build

Alright...i sold my POS hatch and bought another hatch which happens to be a POS also.

BUT...it gave me money for this

"The Panda"

What's done:
H22 Engine + Tranny
p13 Ecu - no chip
Skunk 2 - pro series intake manifold
70mm trottle body
Type S cams
DC header
straight exhaust...2.5"
Auto Zone Intake
H22 Injectors
AEM fuel rail
Short Shifter
Grant Steering wheel

Exterior:
White...no dents back end
gay tail light set up (gonna switch to SI lights)
One piece 6000K HIDs up front
The fenders and front bumper are aftermarket "OEM" and dont really fit...I'm planning on purchasing the Password:JDM fenders with the sidemarkers and a JDM front bumper and fog lights

Anyways...i can rip apart all sorts of goodies...but I have been told that if i get a p28 ecu..and a hondata or skunk2 chip...or whatnot that It will be MUCH stronger...

Any opinions or ideas?

What should i do about paint and such...The previous owner shaved the side molding area off...i like having the thin molds...should i get new doors ...that have door panels (which i am missing)...or just get worked on and keep it shaved...and have fenders that have the molding cut out?

Not sure

Just hit me up with any ideas of what I should do with the hatch to make it THAT much better

Definitely needs some work

sorry if i did this wrong..this is my first........meaningful thread

I think if that h22 swap was done right, it would be too much work to go back to h2b...

H2b virtually drops straight in like a b-series...I personally dont like the straight h22 swap due to the shifter cables...they like to bind and get in the way sometimes. Plus you gotta cut a hole under your shifter to accomidate the cables.

As for alarms and what not, just get a good alarm, and install fuel cut off switch somewhere. Igntion kill is good as well, but if they really wanted your car, then can just push start it...

get in the way of what?

theres already a hole under the shifter, its just not big enough to hold the bigger shifter, if an H22 swap is done right the cables are almost un noticeable.

denraweb have you ever even driven a civic with an H22 swap to make such bold comments?

The cables don't get in the way whatsoever, you can barely see them. It shifts like a champ. My only problem right now is when i pull into the drive way and go over the curb...the suspension...or sway bars or something are making a weird noise...might just be bushings and im not used to it yet, but its not the noise of blown shocks or bad springs..... im a newb

a chipped ecu will do wonders with your setup. i say go for that first (doesnt cost too much)

if u can afford it pick up a supertech valve/spring/retainer kit at the same time.

Buy my JDM EG front end parts. I've got the JWJDM fenders, sidemarkers, fog lights, and clear corners.

The lines where the molding was shaved looks horrible in my opinion, someone didnt do a very good job with it. I say fix the body, and get a passenger side mirror.
