Spoon parts on ebay scare me sometimes. Just thought someone would know as I have never seen this product.

I remember seeing the Spoon VTEC controller but it looked nothing like this at all. They are saying in the ad that it is from and Integra.

Hey Spoon kept their EF9 obd0 with the Integra Type R engine with their custom Spoon Sports OBD0 ECU. Remember?

yeah i was gonna say the same.. it looks legit to me. I never figured out why they just used a sticker on the controller.. they could have paid a few cents more for each one and had it laser etched with spoon sports or something. oh well.

Cool, thanks alot guys. I was initially looking for a cluster which is just a smiggin of impossible to find. If anyone has one let me know!

I might purchase this as well unless I can find it new.

I've had a Spoon ECU/VTEC controller for awhile. That's not an EF kit. It may be OBDO but the EF one is flat and same material as stock delete with ****, light, and Spoon written across the bottom. Also they cost over $500 new and sell for about $150 used. Look around on Ebay, they usually have several, until you see a **** that looks like an EF. When you see it you'll know. I don't have a picture of the fitting kit(**** part) but here's ^^ some proof. Excuse the mess.

Spoon certification #05370.

The spoon speedometer?

Its one of the few parts I would just make an overlay for...rather than spend $$$ and time hunting one down. But to each his own.

mmrusa.com used to make custom overlays...but I think they went belly up...

Since no EDM/JDM clusters go up to 240 KM/H, it would be pretty hard to make from scratch...

Let me look in my saved links.

So all this does is change the VTEC crossover point? What about tuning as the ECU is tuned for its own specific crossover?

Guess how Spoon made theirs? Yeah, they used the ee8/9 clusters....
250kph, 9500rpm standard in any EDM vtec cluster.

As mentioned above, not true at all. The Spoon face is just an EDM EE8/9 face with a "Spoon" light up symbol. Here's ashot of my stock EE8 cluster to 240kph, and i bought the whole cluster for like $150
