88 LXi head same as other 86-89s?

88 LXi head same as other 86-89s?

We picked up a somewhat clean 88 Accord LXi 4 door. IT has a bent valve and blows oil out like crazy. Our friend has an 87 LX that we can get the head off of, will it fit? Will we have anyproblems?
Please help!

No. the LX head will NOT bolt on correctly.

It bolts on, the main thing you need to look at is to see if the LX head has the notches for the fuel injectors on the intake side. If not, then the head will not work. Some LX heads came with this notch, while others did not..
