that aint a hachi roku..thats a hachi go...its not a gt-s..its an sr5. no 4ag for u!!...4ac/3ac.... carbed. no lsd. no fuel injection..no rear disc.

carbed..so..if u want to run efi..u gonna have to wire the car for it. or u swap in a 4ag and run dual carb set up. blah blah..takes some cash to make sr5 ready.

perhaps u should read:
http://www.club4ag.com/faq%20and%20t...onversion.html

there u go. and before u begin to drift. learn to grip. no grip no drift. i dont know u so i cant judge u, but a lot of kids think they can just get in an corolla and drift
24-7..no..

i know someone with a strong running sr5..swapped 4ag/dual carb set up...hes very fast up where we drive.it can be done, but...it might be easier just searching a little harder for a gt-s..they r out there.

btw...is that rust damage on the rear quarter panel? if so..**** that...i also suggest u look in the hatch for rust too. get that bitch seem welded at least and replace all susp bushing if u gonna try to attack such a project.

it's still a hachi roku. the hachi go's are ae85's. we're swapping the engine out for a 4A-GE. might even be thinking bout a motor from an ae92. i know all about club4ag.com, i've been going there for a while. i know its going to be a pain to do the sr5->gt-s conversion, but thats why i'm calling it a project car. for $50 you can't beat the deal.

not that its important...but..hachi=8...roku=6....referring to ae86...a 4age equipped trueno/coroll/levin from i believe 84-87.

youre car is equipped with a 4ac/or 3ac..carbed motor. ae86 didnt come with 4ac/3ac..they came with 4age. if im correct, youre car is not a gt-s..its an sr5.

blah blah

like i said..if thats rust.**** that.junk it. u dont seem to be to cared about the structural rigidity of that chassis.

i suggest u re evaluate youre 4ag conversion. if u do it...it might be cheaper in the long run to run a dual carb set up, such as mikuni or weber rather then wiring the car for fuel injection. with that, your gonna have to find all the efi parts from a gt-s. carbs screaaaaaam anyway.

i respect your advice, and nothing is concrete yet. and just so you know, it IS an AE86. some ae86's came with the 4a-c motors.

http://www.club4ag.com/faq%20and%20t...ison_chart.htm

i know what hachi roku stands for. i know how to drive. i know its not important, but please dont insult my intelligence. we are trying to find a gt-s this weekend to pull everything off of aside from the motor. nothing is set in stone, and obviously we are going to consider all options before doing anything. money is an issue, so we're gonna try to keep cost down to a minimum. hit me up on aol instant messanger if you have it, my sn is putangben. maybe we can chat about it since it seems you might have some hands on experience.

well..regardless of numbers on the chassis i just use 86 and 85 like theyd be used in japan to help denote which trim/engine the car is.my aim is in my profile on here.
