Can't disengage out of Park
I have a 07 Accord, 2.4L engine. I could not disengage out of park. I pressed and held the brake pedal many times and let the car run for 45 minutes but still could not get out of park. This occurred at 8:00 AM when the temperature was 4 degrees. It was like the car did not sense the brake pedal being pressed down. At 2:00 PM after the sun shined on the car for six hours I was able to disengage out of park. Any ideas on what would cause this problem.
bring it to your dealer it needs a brk light switch i have replaced a few of these for this problem. when it happens chk to see if you have brk lights...

I concur on the sticky brake pedal switch diagnosis. We've replaced several of them now. Take it to the dealer if you're still within the warranty mileage.
To drive the car, remove the shift lock cover (the small covered slot located next to the shifter in the center console) and insert the ignition key into the slot. This will release the shift lock mechanism and allow you to shift the transmission to neutral so that you can start the car. Keep an eye on your mirrors while driving as your brake lights may not be working.
