Icon3 Engine/Tranny combo

Well I finally made the switch. I just obtained (legally LOL) my first Honda. It's a 1989 Honda Accord LXi 4door. I need to replace the engine due to a rod through the block, but am wondering if either the K20 or H22a engines will fit. Also which 5 speed tranny should I use? I am really looking forward to getting into the import tuner scene around my town, so any advice would be appreciated. Currently the car is stock with the blown 2.0 with automatic.

either one of the motors you named would be a great choice.... if you got the money to spend. my suggestion would be to go the accord forum and check out the faq. i would say a f-series would be cool, and cheaper than an h or k series.

Get a DOHC B20 (prelude motor) if you can find them haha.
