you'll need to go into the DOHC territory for that. you already have the best SOHC, to say, and you dont have many options with your auto tranny. first thing is are you wanting to stay with the automatic tranny or convert to manual?

honestly, I would say pick up a full b18b (ls) swap from hmotorsonline.com. This should make it a decently quick car, and its a pretty stout block so if you wanted to throw a little boost at it or something down the road you could. Also the Ls shouldn't be to expensive of a swap to do either. But its really all up to you and what you want in the long run.

What transmission you use will depend entirely on what engine you decide to go with. Decide what you want for an engine and we can tell you what will work for a transmission.

'92 - '00 Civic EX, '92 - '95 Civic Si, or '93 - '97 Del Sol Si is exactly what you want for that engine. Any '92 - '00 Civic transmission (except the '99 - '00 civic Si and '94 - 97 Del sol Vtec transmissions will work though, but they are geared longer, and will accelerate slower.
