Default Arguably the Rarest JDM car in the States...

The Classic Nissan Skyline GT-R

This is arguably the rarest car that I have ever seen, and I have seen everything from Bugattis, Vectors, Enzos, F40s, F50s etc

More than likely my favorite car ever. Wonder how insanely difficult it was to get it over and legal, or at least how much it cost.

The Japanese have so many weird Japan-only cars that even most Japanese don't know about - one like that Stateside would be way more rare. Skyline is like the best known car from the island. Not saying it ain't looking good though

Nice car indeed. There is a black one running around in Dallas. Some doctor owns it. Talked to him at best buy in Arlington last summer. Think name was Jean if remember right.

This car is absolute perfection in my eyes!!! Wow!!!

Can someone tell me exactly what years this exact model Skyline GT-R was made in? First generation I believe, right?

I believe it is a 1972 GT-R. This body style is the first GT-R. However, there were regular non GT-R Skylines before

if you look closely you can see a canadian (BC maybe) plate on that FTO.

Also most of the gc10 skylines brought back to the USA are clones. Although still rare, the japanese dont like to let the real ones be exported. the clones are easy to spot since they are powered by an inline 6 sohc motor often from the fairladyZ or S30z family while the genuine ones are powered by the super rare and expensive (they usually fetch 25-30k for the motor alone) S20 inline six DOHC motor. class is over
