I am wondering why some kits have straight gold fittings and some of them have curved red and blue fittings. I bought a tunertoys oil line kit they came with the straight gold fittings and I am wondering if they are okay to use as long as I use the hose clamps? Or should I invest in the red and blue fittings that are curvered?
I am wondering because all of the cars on here I see have those type of fittings so are they better because they have angles on them? Or is it just because all of the newer kits come with them these days?

You are referring to barb fittings and an fittings, the ones you have are barbed type fittings at least thats what it sounds like. AN fittings are better but cost a lot more, either one works fine for street application just make sure you have the right fall on your drain line.
You have a Stealthmode oil line kit, sold by Tunertoys. With the drain line being gravity fed and having no pressure, either type of install will work fine. With no functional difference, I found it hard to justify the cost and the extra headache of installing AN fittings with our kit.
