Default Subframe bolts-torque specs.

I've heard that the bolts for both the front and rear subframes have a tendancy to stretch a little over time, and that you have to go back in every once in a while and retorque them to keep the car feeling tight.

Anyone heard of this?

Also, I need to know what the torque specs are for these bolts so that I can do this, as I feel like my car has become less solid feeling as time has gone on.

Help?

I have never heard of this. I also have never torqued a subframe. Just gunned it down.

They shouldn't stretch over time. But they do stretch after tq'ed to spec. The manual says they should be replaced any time you have to remove them.

tq to 43 and 76 f-lbs when using new bolts.

Seems like a lot of the bolts are supposed to be replaced.

And those tq specs seem low. I guess gunning it down isnt necessary.
