Default Power locks going on and off

Well this has been going on for months but since my car is not running it is time to fix the problems that still exists before i finish swapping my h22 in.

This is the problem, my power locks will lock and unlock itself continously at random. This concerned me as a security issue so I unplugged the power-locks completely but something still seems to be setting it on and off. Anyone have a clue on what could be causing this?

Well, whenever I go on travel and rent a car I have the same problem. Sometimes when I ask permission from the transmission to connect the wheels to the engine, all the locks on the doors engage for some reason. Other times, when I begin moving all the locks engage. If I vote to disengage them, they usually just reengage. It's like someone else is controlling the car. So in answer to your question, have you installed any electronic parts off a domestic POS? Also, I almost always get all kinds of lights and bongs and dings from somewhere in the dashboard. Some of them go away when I take my laptop off the passenger seat, and others go away when I plug one of the rear seat belts into the latch on the driver's seat. Sometimes if I just drive everywhere with the parking brake on most of the random crap is replaced with one blinking red light. Weird.

If you haven't been messing with domestic parts, then I'd look at the wiring diagram for the electric locks, and try disconnecting the things that can activate them one at a time (like the switches in the doors). If you've had an alarm installed that could be giving you problems also as those guys rarely do a proper job of hooking up everything. Good luck.

This happens on Fords when the battery is almost dead.
