Bend the hanger using a crow bar.
I lowered mine so it wouldn't hit my floor pan (mad lots of noise)
It works. Bend the one on the muffler or the car, You can also use a shorter bushing thing

we had a customer who ingeniously used hose clamps, the ones with screws from home depot, wrapped those around the rubber hangers and tightened them up so his exhaust would not hang low, his exhaust was tucked up real nice on his accord, you may want to try that, he claimed he gained about 1-1.5" of clearance..

Oh, like a screw type hose clamp rapped around the rubber, and tight so it's at it's position as if their was no weight on it?

yup thats what this one guy had on his accord and it worked great, he was also slammed on full coilovers and there was no bottoming out issues when we took it for a test drive after the h22 trans swap. its cheap give it a try and see if that helps.

I used hose clamps on my rubber hangers as everyone else above said to gain some extra ground clearance on mine, and it worked fine...just had to check occassionally to make sure they stayed in place.
