so i got some bigger exhaust hangers so my muffler wouldnt hit the bumper but the holes are too big is there anyway i can get it on there tighter?

get in the ghetto fab mindset! use spare bolt and washers and see if you can make it happen, or just bend the hanger 90 degrees after it exits the rubber hanger. hose clamp hanger to hanger? with some ingenuity, you and the hardware store can make it happen.

i want it to be really tight fit i was thinkin about putting duct tape around the hangers or silicone inside the holes idk

here's a though, drill a small hole through the middle of the metal hanger. install on car. then feed a keyring loop through the whole to act as a cotter pin. not ghetto, easy to remove, gets the job done, and you can hang stuff from it too.

Well if you paid a lot of money for an exhaust, and it doesn't fit worth a crap then you need to figure out if the exhaust is the problem, or if your car is the problem.

Every time I've paid "a lot of money" for an exhaust it fit 100% perfectly with no issues at all.

Also cutting your bumper to fit an exhaust sounds really sketchy. What year/make/model car do you have, and what brand exhaust is it?

Also matters what 'a lot of money' stands for. Some may think 200 is alot of money while others think 2000g is alot of money.


Get a piece of threaded rod to weld to the exhaust and bend it to fit your exhaust. then put a washer and nut on the end. removeable and not as badly hacked together
