Default Does a complete 99-00 EX exhaust fit on a DX hatch?

I have the infamous Y7 exhaust crack.

If I were to pick up a Y8 exhaust (header, cat-back, new magnaflow cat) does it fit the HB without modification?

Its an automatic daily beater, so I'm not too worried about performance upgrades...I just want it to not break again.

Then I guess I'll go with just the header and have the cat welded in on my mid-pipe. Thanks for the quick answer.

I remember a thread where someone said they had actually done this, they said they used the EX manilfold, downpipe, cat and intermediate pipe, with the CX/DX axleback. They said everything lined up perfectly. I've never done it personally so I can't guarentee you it works, if you try it please post back and let us know one way or the other if it works though, I'd like to know.

Now that's more encouraging. If I get it and it works, I'll let you know. Thanks.

ya i think the axle back part is where it needs to
be shorter..ive tried a coupe axle back on a hatch
and that was the problem.

I'm not quite sure what you are saying, but it sounds like if I just get the EX header, b-pipe, cat, and mid-pipe it will fit, as long as I keep my stock DX axle-back, right?

Correct.

You may have to extend O2 sensor wires.
