Y8 fuel rail on A6 head?
I just replaced the fuel pump on my 88 CRX Si and i still have issues with it starting. Once the car gets going and the fuel pressure builds i don't have issues, but it takes a while to kick over and runs so lean that i can't drive it until the car smells like its running rich. Over the number three and four cylinder, i see some residue coating the injectors and fuel rail. So i'm assuming that i have a small leak from either the rail or injector (the residue smells like gas). I have ruled out leaks in fuel lines b/c i did a thorough inspection once the tank was off. Could i possibly place a Y8 fuel rail with injectors and fpr in lieu of the A6 one's i have now? Would they fit properly? Would i need a diff wiring harness? etc? Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

the y8 rail will not fit on the a6 manifold, at least without out a bit of modification... the y8 injectors also will not work properly...

would i need to tune the ecu for them to run properly or just change the wiring harness? would putting a Y8 mani instead of just the rail allow me to fix the issue?
