Default does this sound like a fuel pump problem?

still cant figure my problem out. i did the mpfi swap on my d15b1 and it ran great for a day or two. then i started to loose highend power and when i step on it, it just bogs down. im stumped here and need to know where to start lookin. some friends told be that it was the fuel pump but i wanna make sure thats it b4 i go down there. what could be causing me to loose power?

i don't hear anything. lol, just kidding man. it's not gonna be your fuel pump. a fuel pump either works or doesn't. there really isn't an in between with those. if your car runs, then your fuel pump is working, if it wasn't running all together and you weren't getting any fuel to your motor what so ever, then it would be worth looking into replacing it. but if your able to drive your car then your fuel pump is working. look into other areas.

lol thanks. what i think it is, is the timing on the dizzy cuz since i took it off it has ran like **** since then. but now i have it timed to where the pointer is pointing at the first notch of the three lol i dont know how to tell what degree that is. or how to tell the degrees at all cuz the book says somethin like 16-20* btdc. i just have it there cuz its running and gettin me to work for now. but with it not being timed correctly what would make me throw code one? and i already changed the o2 sensor after it did it the first time.
